I haven't used them enough to know if it makes a difference (I barely use them these days to be honest, the fact of them always breaking kind of ruins it for me), but I'd be curious to know as well if in releasing the headband there is any corrosion or something on the connector. Some people have reported the taping that hole fixes the issue. Interestingly though, although I've never tried it, there is a small hole when you remove the ear cups that will allow you to remove the band if you put a paperclip or something inside it to trigger the release. But that's not a great long-term solution, of course. My solution is generally to pester Apple into sending me a replacement and I don't take no or "it's just bluetooth interference" for an answer. That's the only common link between it happening (twice, by the way) - how, I'm not really sure, though. I suspect it is caused by condensation build up shorting the electronics somehow. PS yes I've done reset countless times on all of my devices and APM.I can only think it's my cars competing with my Apple devices on my home network.which is causing the problem. I'm pretty chuffed.just need to do some investigation when I return home. It's got to be something competing with my devices either on my home wifi network or bluetooth network. I was about to give up my APMs for good until today, when I went to visit my parents, I thought I'd given them one last try! To my surprise, I can now listen to music and watched a whole film without any problems both on my iPad Pro and MBP!! ie they're definitely not broken. By the time I returned to Apple store they told me it would be £285 to repair as it was now out of warranty!!

I've had exactly the same problems with my APM regarding connectivity issues you've all been experiencing for several months, even had them taken in for Apple "repair" which helped only for a couple of weeks. They keep saying nothing is wrong with my APM.Īnybody else experiencing this with their APM and/or Apple’s technical support?Īny help or advice is greatly appreciated. But when i ship it to them, they ship it back. I keep attempting to get apple technical support to fix it.

Fix: I put them on charge for about 5 minutes, then did a factory reset, put them in the case the reset my network settings on my phone.

They all work perfectly with the Bluetooth on the before mentioned devices. I know this post is old AF, but if anyone is still having issues with AirPods Max connectivity, I.e: keeps connecting/disconnecting, no sound from drivers when connected. I have other pairs of wireless ear buds and headphones ( airpods Pro, and Bose 700). I tried unpairing and repairing, returning to factory settings, forgetting the device etc., The issue remains. The bad bluetooth connection applies to both these devices individually. With my APM, I connect to one of these devices at a time.

I am connected both to an Apple iPhone X plus (with the latest software) and to a Windows 10 Lenovo lap top.
#Blue airpods max full
They do it often enough that I can’t listen to a full song without the connection dropping. Mainly because they disconnect from Bluetooth randomly. So, my Air Pods Max (APM) were working just fine a while back.
